Most individual state/province regulatory boards require continuing education for massage therapists to renew licensing.

You can check the licensing requirements for your state/province here, but always double check with your state/province regulatory board for information (in case there have been any changes) and city and county authorities as to local regulations. Alberta Massage Therapy licensee's are responsible for being up to date with the Alberta continuing education requirements.
